I saw Jeffrey Lewis a few weeks ago. It was a great show. Lylas and the Mattoid opened. Lylas was very good--there's a new album coming out soon--and the Mattoid is just friggin' crazy, man.
MY DESERT ISLAND LIST
I have spent a great deal of time thinking about my top-10 desert island music picks. In my scenario, there's electricity (maybe I have to ride a bamboo stationary bike like on Gilligan's Island) and I get to have the artist's entire catalogue, including solo band members' albums after the group broke up. This list changes periodically, but here it is for now:
