I work as program administrator for the Vanderbilt University American Studies and Film Studies programs. Before that I spent four years as editor for Vanderbilt's Learning Sciences Institute. Before THAT I was an editor at Nashville Parent magazine. And before that I was freelance editing and writing and etc. Whew! I am old.
I really enjoy working in an academic environment, and especially in the humanities. American Studies and Film Studies are both fascinating programs, and I've learned a lot about what it takes to make a university run.
