What's Up
I've been doing some writing for Her Nashville magazine--
most recently a piece for the November issue, with another coming up in February.
On Oct. 16 I chaired a session at the Southeastern Medieval Association Annual Meeting. It was a humbling experience for my spirit vessel. Imagine being the only person in the room not fluent in Old English. Níed!
In August I gave a sermon at First Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashville on "From Beck to The Beatles: Popular Music as Spiritual Guide"...I never thought I'd live to see a church congregation singing "Stairway to Heaven." It was awesome!
I've started an MFA in fiction writing program at Murray State University and am working on some short stories.
